Own a share of a Racehorse in the UK
City Racing Club has been set up by racing enthusiasts. As such it has very little to do with the betting industry, and the club’s emphasis is on enjoying following the progress of your chosen horse’s career.
The club’s members are often first time syndicate members. The horse world is sometimes difficult to understand and the club is run specifically for those who do not have a horsey background. By keeping prices cheap and annual fees fixed we aim to bring involvement with racehorses to many more people.
The club’s racing colours are worn by the jockey. They are a red silk jacket with a royal blue hoop across the chest. A royal blue cap silk is also worn. Responsibility for day to day running of the club lies with Mike Lurcock, who is an accountant who also trains and rides racehorses. His experience in investment administration ensures that accounts are kept accurately and that members’ interests are always protected. City Racing Club is registered with the British Horseracing Authority who are responsible for the regulation of horseracing in Great Britain
